DIVERSIFIED CHIROPRACTIC TECHNIQUE

Chiropractic as we know it begin in 1898 under the development of D. D. Palmer. The Diversified Technique adjusts the vertebral subluxation complexes (VSC) (problems caused by restriction between vertebral joints and their ligaments, blood and lymphatic vessels and other associated tissues) of the spine and pelvis to directly affect skeletal joints, nerves and muscle function, while indirectly affecting visceral or organ function of the body. Diversified Doctors of Chiropractic are also trained how to adjust extraspinal joints of the limbs, temporomandibular joint (TMJ or jaw) and ribs.

ANIMAL CHIROPRACTIC

Animal Chiropractic applies Diversified Chiropractic Technique, as described above, to animals. Dr. DeAnn Adams studied and successfully completed her training with horses, dogs and cats and received her Animal Chiropractic Certificate from Options for Animals College in Wellsville, KS and attained the International Veterinary Animal Chiropractic Certificate (IVCA). In the State of MN, we may only evaluate and treat animals with a referral from a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (form located below). This ensures that underlying pathology has either been identified or ruled out prior to a chiropractic treatment. Our animal chiropractic focus is on equine, canine and feline, but we have routinely worked with dairy goats, sheep, and show cattle, as well as, pet rabbits and guinea pigs.
